You can only send a limited number of Vodacom please call me's per day by dialling *140*1234567890# where 01234567890 is the number you would like to send a please call me to.
As an additional easter egg, you can dial *140# from your mobile phone to manage your 'Please call me's' including adding your name to please call me's you send or disabling them all together.
Many people use "Please call me's" to just say hi to friends...
